With everything that is happening around us everyday, the word ‘stranger’ beautifully describes how Muslims feel in this world. The only way that non-Muslims would truly accept us is if we let go of Islam.
But then we would no longer be Muslim. And we want to stay Muslim.
Which means they will never accept us.
We are the strangers.

‘Islam began as something strange and will revert to being strange as it began, so give glad tidings to the strangers.’ [ Hadith narrated by Muslim (145) from Abu Hurayrah ]
