I have nothing but your generosity to put my hope in.
Nothing.
For I stand at Your door holding broken scrap
and yet you open.
Save me from this storm.
I am the most helpless of all your slaves.
And I’m lost.
Wandering in the middle of a forest trying to find my way.
But all the trees look the same,
and each path just leads back to the beginning.
No one finds their way out of this forest,
except whom You save.
Save me. For truly, truly I cannot save myself.
The words above is a little something from Yasmin Mogahed which has pretty much hit my heart so hard like a bullet. Indeed, sometimes we all feel lost. Life damages us, tears us down, tries us in so many ways that just affirms our humanity and the human ability to feel. We fall into despair, and sometimes we even lose our way.
For all those feeling distressed, lost or despondent, don’t give up in the mercy of Allah (swt).

Remember, there will never be a place to run from Allah. Even if you run and jump off the highest cliff or drown yourself in the deepest sea, you will still return to Allah. Don't pick the wrong path just because things turn out hard. Don't forget Allah just because life knocks you down. Hardships, everyone faces them. Everyone struggles, but not everyone suffocates. Why? Because a fraction of their heart convinces them that Allah is always there to help out. If He brought them to it, He'll definitely bring them through it. That's why.
N maybe some of you may go;
"Cakap senanglah, i'm facing the hurdles, i'm going through the obstacles, not you! Wait till you sit in the same situation, only then you'll have a taste of what I'm going through"
Yes, that's true. Yet, it is always wise enough to note that Allah tests different people with different problems. Maybe you're facing A, I'm facing B, she's facing C and he's facing D. The point is, everyone is fighting their own battles. And sometime life may push you down to the ground, but get back up. Don't just stay there. As long as there is sunlight, there is a second chance.
Come back. Return. There's still hope. Trust me, there is.
as human, we fragile. we stumble. we mess up. we trip n we fall..
this life might scatter us into bits n pieces, but the remembrance of Allah is a supergglue or the best gam gajah to fix us back..
n yes, this dunya might hit u so hard in the face, but hey, that's part of the path.
keep going. keep rising n refuse to give up..
no fear. Allah's here. Allah's here..
Till then, pray for me, and pray for the ummah.
Tabarakallah ;)
